CREATION OF ALL SOULS & EVENT OF ALAST

Khudi Ko Kar Buland Itna Keh Har Taqdeer Say Pehlay

Khuda Banday Say Khud Poochay Bata Teree Raza Kia Hay

(Rise yourself to such an extreme in virtues and deeds

Almighty Allah(SWT) may ask you intention for your destiny)

Hadrat Allama Dr. Muhammad Iqbal(RA), a Poet of the East (Pakistan) in the above verse of his poetry is showing us a specific way by adopting which we can easily change our destiny. Almighty Allah(SWT) has also shown this way in His Holy Quran but we need to ponder over every verse and inculcate its true meaning to be able to act upon Quranic Orders accordingly.

All sayings of Almighty Allah(SWT) are available with us in form of Holy Quran through the mean of Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWAW). Those sayings of Almighty Allah(SWT), which are not included in the Holy Quran, are also with us in form of Hadith-e-Qudsi through the mean of Holy Prophet(SAWAW). All true sayings of Holy Prophet(SAWAW) are also available with us in form of Holy Hadiths of Holy Prophet(SAWAW) which are called Hadith-e-Nabvi(SAWAW). In other sense, holy tongue of the Holy Prophet(SAWAW) is the tongue of Almighty Allah(SWT). Awliya Allah, in fact, work for the spread of True Teachings of Islam on behalf of the Holy Prophet(SAWAW). However, their sayings available with us should although be called Holy Quran and Hadith-e-Nabvi(SAWAW) but we will call them Aqwaal-e-Zareen (Sayings of Awliya Allah). What is understandable is that in reality all sayings of Almighty Allah(SWT), that of Holy Prophet(SAWAW) and Awliya Allah are three parts connected with single chain and purpose of Almighty Allah(SWT).

Since Hadrat Allama Dr. Muhammad Iqbal(RA) is a sufi saint having full awareness of the Oneness of Almighty Allah(SWT), he first passed through all steps and then for our guidance he is showing us the way as to how to pass through the same steps to find the Straight Path.

In the above quoted verse of his poetry, the word “Khudi” has been used as an example whereas all the verse is easily understandable whereas complete Islamic Science of Mysteries is contained in the word “Khudi”. If the word “Khudi” is understood, the main objective of the verse will come into our understanding.

The word “Khudi” in fact does not relate to human body – it relates to human soul which is actually the owner of human body. Human body is just like a vehicle and soul is its driver. It is upto the driver to drive the vehicle the way it wants. But unfortunately human soul of this time is spotted with sins and is not purified while the Allama is referring to that soul which was totally pure, because only purified soul can appear before Almighty Allah(SWT) and not the soul spotted with sins. In fact, “Khudi” relates to the souls of very first day when they were created by Almighty Allah(SWT) and gathered them in a wide field to take witness of His Oneness. In this context, the following Quranic verse is referred:

Wa Izz Akhazaa Rabbuka Mim Bani Adama Min Zahuurihim Zurriyyatahum Wa Ash-Hadahum Alaa Anfusihim Alastu Birabbikum, Qaloo Balaa Shahidna An Taqooloo Yawmal Qiyawmati Inna Kunna Aan Hazaa Ghafileena

(Quranic Surah 7:172)

Translation: “AND WHENEVER thy Sustainer brought forth their offspring from the loins of the children of Adam, He [thus] called upon them to bear witness about themselves: “Am I not your Sustainer?” – to which they answered: “Yea, indeed, we do bear witness thereto!” [Of this We remind you,] lest you say on the Day of Resurrection, “Verily, we were unaware of this”.

The above Quranic Verse depicts the event when Almighty Allah(SWT) created all souls from Adam to the last man to come on this earth till the end of this universe. After creating all souls, Almighty Allah(SWT) gathered them in a wide field to take witness as to whether He is their Sustainer. All souls replied that of course You (Allah) are our Sustainer. Almighty Allah(SWT) needed this witness from all Souls so that on the day of Resurrection they should not say that they were unaware of the reality that only Almighty Allah(SWT) was their Sustainer. On this occasion, Almighty Allah(SWT) also asked wishes of all souls. This mystery is well ordained in Surah Fateha in Holy Quran.

The mystery of creation of souls, taking their witness and asking their wishes is the knowledge of Islamic Science received from the ChiefQalandar Sarkar Noor Allah Marqadah, who received this knowledge spiritually from the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Suallu Alaihi Wa Aalehi Wasallam). It must be noted that words give apparent knowledge and mystery gives wisdom and indepth approach to mar’afat.

When Almighty Allah(SWT) spoke: Alastobirabbikum, all souls replied: Qaloo Balaa. This was the style of bearing witness of the Oneness of Almighty Allah(SWT) by all souls. Thereafter, Almighty Allah(SWT) openly announced:

  1. If anyone of you wants world and worldly status (Dunia), I shall grant;
  2. If anyone of you wants Jannah, I shall grant; and
  3. If anyone of you wants My Own Self (My Recognition), I shall grant too.

In order to closely observe world and worldly status, Almighty Allah(SWT) showed to all souls world and worldly status on a Noorani Multimedia Screen together with Jannah. Hell was also shown, at the end, on the screen to create fright in the souls so that they should abstain from committing any sin after coming in the world. At this time, every soul had the right to closely see any scene of world to be able to decide what to wish for in light of the announcement of Almighty Allah(SWT). It was the very first day of determining destiny of souls and writing on Loh-e-Mahfooz.

After the souls had seen world, worldly status, Jannah and Hell, Almighty Allah(SWT) firstly divided all the souls into ten groups and questioned in light of His announcement. Out of the ten groups, nine groups of souls made wishes for world and worldly status (Duniya). This attitude of souls made Almighty Allah(SWT) Furious (Ghazabnaak). That’s why they are still unbelievers being closely and keenly connected with world and worldly status. Almighty Allah(SWT) ordered those nine groups to separate themselves and asked His deputed Angels to write down their wishes. Secondly, Almighty Allah(SWT) divided the leftover group (tenth group) further into ten groups and asked their wishes in light of His announcement. This time, out of ten groups, again nine groups of souls made wishes for world, worldly status but together with Jannah as an additional benefit stating they are frightened of Hell. Their attitude added to furiousness of Almighty Allah(SWT). Likewise, Almighty Allah(SWT) ordered them to separate themselves and asked His deputed Angels to write down their wishes. Thirdly, Almighty Allah(SWT) again divided the leftover group (tenth group) into further ten groups and repeated His question in light of His initial announcement. Out of the ten groups of souls, only three groups of souls stated: O’Allah! Your world and worldly status are nothing more than darkness, folly and are useless for us – we like and love your Jannah and we wish for the same but other six groups of souls, imitating the former groups of souls, made wish for world, worldly status and in addition Jannah stating that they are also frightened of Hell. Almighty Allah(SWT) ordered them to separate themselves and asked His deputed Angels to write down their wishes accordingly. At that time, furiousness of Almighty Allah(SWT) was at peak. Lastly, Almighty Allah(SWT) did not divide the leftover group of souls but directly asked them to spell out their wishes. The souls of leftover group straightaway replied, O’Allah! We need not Your world (Dunia) nor Jannah nor are we frightened of Hell. We make wish for Your Own Self, Your Recognition, Your nearness, Your obedience, Your love, and Your Friendship. If on the Doomsday, You shall order us to enter Hell, we will obey Your order and enter the Hell. After listening to the wishes of the last and least group of souls, furiousness of Almighty Allah(SWT) converted into pleasure and He stated, O’My Souls! Although you have made wish for nothing yet you have made wish for everything. These were the souls who established true and sound belief in Almighty Allah(SWT) on the very first day and rejected world, worldly status, Jannah stating that they are not frightened of Hell. These were the souls of Prophets, Messengers and inborn Awliya Allah. That’s why when they came in the world, they came with Recognition of Almighty Allah(SWT) and guided ones. They did not get guidance after coming in this world and become Prophet or Messenger. On the contrary, they came in the world with the status of Prophets, Messengers duly guided ones to bless others with Recognition of Almighty Allah(SWT) who had committed mistake in recognizing Almighty Allah(SWT). It is Almighty Allah(SWT) Who blessed them with the status of Prophets, Messengers and His Awliya. Who keeps recognition of Almighty Allah(SWT) is called Wali Allah and in this way every Prophet, Messenger was also Wali Allah on the basis of  having recognition of Almighty Allah(SWT). Recognition of Almighty Allah(SWT) can be understood with the word “Walayah” which means the “Exposed Reality”.

Now any child, which takes birth in this world, is the creature of Almighty Allah(SWT) out of a drop of semen which raises in the womb of its mother with blood – that blood which is called menses. That’s why, during pregnancy, no woman suffers from menses because blood of menses  becomes the diet and source of raising child for nine month in the womb of its mother. It is Almighty Allah(SWT)’s great blessing on the child when it takes birth it is totally sinless, purified and keeps the qualities of a complete human. Till the age of seven years, that child lives its life in a completely purified and sinless condition. During this age, the Angle deputed to note sins is not allowed to note any sin of the child but the Angle deputed to note deeds is allowed to note good deeds. For example, that child when in the age of seven years imitates their parents in offering prayer, this type of his childish deed is noted as good deed. That’s why, the Holy Prophet(SAWAW)’s holy saying is that “instigate your child to offer prayer and in the age of 12 years force him to offer prayer” so that the child in seven or twelve years of his age should concentrate in state of prayer as to whose Straight Path he is requesting from Almighty Allah(SWT). It must be noted that no one can save himself from the darkness and folly caused by Iblees in this world. With the passage of time, the child keeps raising but if he fails to concentrate as to whose Straight Path he is requesting from Almighty Allah(SWT), he automatically enters the life of losses. That’s why in Surah Asr, Almighty Allah(SWT) swearing by time stated that entire humanity is at losses except those who established true and sound belief in Almighty Allah, did good deeds including the deeds of preaching others the way of Haq and salvation. It needs to be noted carefully that those who on the very first day established true and sound belief in Almighty Allah(SWT) do good deeds in the world and they are pious in the eye of Almighty Allah(SWT) and people declared by Almighty Allah(SWT) as at losses live their life in darkness and folly.

In order to get rid of losses, Surah Fateha in the Holy Quran gives clear hints as to whose Straight Path should we request from Almighty Allah(SWT). Surah Fateha indicates that the path being requested is of those on whom Almighty Allah(SWT) bestowed His Glory and not of those who went astray by making wishes for world, worldly status as well as those who entrapped by making wish for Jannah.

Those who established true and sound belief in Almighty Allah(SWT) are blessed with great rewards and they perform the duty to correct mistake of those who, after saying “Qaloo Balaa” later became fond of world, worldly status and Jannah so that when they may realize that they had committed mistake on the very first day by making wrong wishes instead of making wish for Almighty Allah(SWT)’s Own Self, His Recognition, His nearness, His Obedience, His Friendship, should try hard to meet with these Awliya Allah to correct their mistake. Almighty Allah(SWT) has extended this facility by the mean of His beloved Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWAW).

In order to come to the Straight Path, Hadrat Allama Dr. Muhammad Iqbal(RA) showed us another way in one of verses of his poetry:

Nigah-e-Mard-e-Momin Say Badal Jati Hein Taqdeerein

Jo Ho Zauq-e-Yaqeen Paida Tow Cut Jati Hein Zanjeerein

(Single sight of Momin (Wali Allah) can change destiny,

And if there is enthusiasiam and belief, life of losses

can be got rid of)

The above verse of poetry of the Allama clearly indicates that the right and power to change destiny/fate of human beings are only with Awliya Allah. No one can change his own destiny or fate by offering prayers, acting upon holy sayings of the Holy Prophet (SAWAW) and Almighty Allah(SWT). A sick person, for example, cannot become healthy unless he receives medical treatment from a qualified doctor. Similarly, an illiterate person can get education only from an educated teacher.

Now it is time to understand that Almighty Allah(SWT) created three kinds of mankind:

  1. Eunuch
  2. Female
  3. Male

There is holy saying of the Holy Prophet(SAWAW):

Attalibo Dunia Mukhannasun, Attalibo Uqbah (Jannah) Moannasun and Attalibo Maula Muzzakkarun.

Meaning: Out of either of three kinds of mankind, who, after coming in this world, pray for world and worldly status are Eunuch; those who pray for Jannah are female and those who pray for nearness of Maula (Almighty Allah(SWT) are Male even if they are out of the three kinds of mankind.

Since after seal on Prophethood, spread of True Teachings of Islam started through Tasawwuf and all disciples of Suffah started working as Awliya Allah who were blessed by Almighty Allah(SWT) with rights and powers to take Oath of Allegiance from those who wanted Straight Path, purification of  their souls, and finally presented them in the Holy Bargah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWAW) who is the Purifier (Muzakki) of souls. In this regard, Holy Quran also states that those who get their souls purified succeeds and who ignore this aspect fail.

Out of three kinds of mankind, those who pray for nearness of Almighty Allah(SWT) in this world are male and are three in kinds:

  1. Most Perfect Wali Allah (Akmal)
  2. Perfect Wali Allah (Mukammal)
  3. Complete Wali Allah (Kamil)

Most of the people speak of Kamil Awliya Allah but Hadrat Allama Dr. Muhammad Iqbal(RA) referred to the Most Perfect (Akmal) Awliya Allah whose single spiritual sight can change destiny.

Complete (Kamil) Awliya Allah are famous by virtue of their miracles which attract those who pray for world and worldly status. Kamil Awliya Allah, after taking Oath of Allegiance, teach Shariah to those who come to them. These Awliya Allah keep annihilation in the holy personality of the Holy Prophet(SAWAW) through the mean of their Shaikh and they can work for the spread of Islam at 70 places at a time by dividing their body into 70 personalities. Before their outward demise, they leave behind one person out of their family as their heir to care for their disciples and to continue showering bounty and blessings of Islam.

Perfect (Mukammal) Awliya Allah are more famous by virtue of their miracles to attract those people to come to them to find Straight Path who made wish for world, worldly status as well as Jannah. They also teach Shariah to those who give them Oath of Allegiance but also bless few of their close disciples with the Light (Noor) of Almighty Allah(SWT) to see mysteries of the universe. Before their outward demise, they too leave one person out of their family as their heir to keep guiding their disciples. Perfect Awliya Allah can work for the spread of Islam at 140 places at a time by dividing their body into 140 personalities.

Most Perfect (Akmal) Awliya Allah’s every moment is full of miracles even if they try to control but miracles keep happening. People who pray for the nearness, obedience, friendship of Almighty Allah(SWT) are taken care of the Most Perfect Awliya Allah. They are the actual custodian of True Teachings of Islam and can work for the spread of Islam at as many places as they may want. They  are blessed by Almighty Allah(SWT) with the rights and powers to change destiny of people coming to them to find the Straight Path. Although they can make as many of their disciples like themselves but before their outward demise they too leave only one person out of their family to take care of their disciples and keep showering bounty and blessings of Islam. Their single sight can make anyone Wali Allah and there is example of Hadrat Syed Abdul Qadir Jillani(AS) who made Awliya Allah by his single spiritual attention. Almighty Allah(SWT) and the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWAW) bless them with various ranks, and their prays are accepted by Almighty Allah(SWT) instantly. The Most Perfect Awliya Allah can do anything which cannot be done by Perfect or Complete Awliya Allah.

May Almighty Allah(SWT) bless readers with great wisdom to understand this mystery and knowledge of Islamic Science.

INTRODUCTION OF ALLAMA DR. MUHAMMAD IQBAL(RA)

April 22, 2010

Hadrat Allama Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, a Great Scholar and a Unique Poet of the East used to recite Holy Quran in his school days. His father’s room was adjacent to his room. From the courtyard, his room comes first and then his father room. When his father used to awake early in the morning for Tahajjud Prayer, he used to pass through the room of his son and see that Allama was reciting Holy Quran. His father used to ask: O’My son! What are you reciting? Allama used to think that his father sees that he was reciting Holy Quran and even then he used to ask what I was doing. His father asked his son, at the time of his Tahajjud Prayer, as to what he was reciting. When third time his father asked what he was reciting. Allama with some sorrow feelings asked his father: O’My Father! You are seeing I am reciting Holy Quran but your question what I am reciting is beyond my understanding. His father sat down near his son and asked: O’My Son! My aim to ask as to what you were reciting was to know “do you understand what you are reciting?” Allama started thinking and answered: O’My Father! only few words of Holy Quran comes into my understanding. His father told: O’My Son! This Holy Book best understood on whom it was revealed by Almighty Allah. Allama argued: O’My Father! do you mean to say that after the Holy Prophet Muhammad(SAWAW), no one could understand this Holy Quran. His father replied: O’My Son! It is not so what you say. This Holy Quran understood only he who recited it in such a manner as if Almighty Allah is addressing him and that verses of this Holy Book are being revealed to him for his guidance. Allama was the most intelligent personality. He caught the point of his father tenderly and prayed to Almighty Allah to bless him with wisdom to understand true meanings of Holy Quran. With the blessing of Almighty Allah, the whole meaning of the Holy Quran started coming to the understanding of Allama. When Allama started reciting Holy Quran with this thinking that Almighty Allah is addressing him, he used to weep for long time while reciting. It is common phenomenon that eye drops keep a kind of acid which cause inflammation and make the eyes redish and such a person looks as if he a drunk. That’s why, Muslims of his time rejecting truth announced that Allama is a drinker. With continuous weeping, the leafs of the Holy Quran used to wet with his eye drops. After having passed 10th class in District Sialkot in Pakistan, Allama prepared to come to Lahore District for admission in well reputed college known as Government College now known as Government College University, Lahore. Before Allama left his ancestral district, one day his father called him and asked: O’My Son! One day I will demand something from you. Allama replied in positive and got admitted in the Government College at Lahore District. In the college, sometime students used to hold a function in which selected students had to present their poetry. Allama started taking part in such functions and presenting his poetry on the Holy Quran. All of his college fellows used to wonder on Quranic poetry of Allama. One day, Allama received news that his father was sick and wanted to see his son i.e. Allama. Allama went back to his ancestral District Sialkot to see his ailing father. His father had come to know that his son was being blessed by Almighty Allah with wisdom to present his poetry on the Holy Quran. His father called his son and reminded him that before leaving Sialkot District, he asked him to demand something from him. On his father’s question and reminder, Allama tenderly offered his father stating: O’My Father! what you wanted to demand something from me? His father told: O’My Son! Almighty Allah has blessed you with wisdom to understand Holy Quran and that my demand for something is that what mission you have started should always continue i.e. poetry on Holy Quran. Allama promised his father to continue presenting poetry on Holy Quran for the sake of other Muslims to understand meaning of the same through his poetry. Hadrat Allama Dr. Muhammad Iqbal(RA), a Great Sufi Saint, is among those on whom Almighty Allah bestowed His Glory and blessed wisdom to elaborate the meaning of Holy Quran in his poetry. For example, Almighty Allah says in Holy Quran: QUL INKUNTUM TUHIBBUNALLAH HAA FATTABIUNI YUHBIBKO MULLAH. Allama portrayed the meaning of this Quranic Verse in one of his following poetry: Ki Muhammad(SAWAW) Say Wafa Tu Nay Tow Hum Teray Hein Yeh Jahan Cheez Hay Kia, Loho Qalam Teray Hein This verse is from the side of Almighty Allah which states: Your proven loyality with my Prophet Muhammad(SAWAW), I (Allah) am yours, this universe is nothing, you have the rights over Loho Qalam. Hadrat Allama Dr. Muhammad Iqbal(RA) wrote various books containing his poetry on the Holy Quran for the purpose to understand meanings of the Holy Quran by Muslim in an easy way. Now it is upto Muslims as to how much do they benefit out of the poetry of Hadrat Allama Dr. Muhammad Iqbal(RA). May Almighty Allah bless Muslims to benefit out of the poetry of Hadrat Allama Dr. Muhammad Iqbal(RA) who is a Great Sufi Saint fully aware of the Oneness of Almighty Allah. He is said to be honorary Qalandar as Qalandar is the personality who knows mysteries of Holy Quran and the creatures of Almighty Allah, and can enlighten the brain and hearts of Muslims with Noor-e-Ellahi.
